Chrono Trigger (SNES) Chrono Trigger (AKA クロノ・トリガ or Kurono Torigā) is a role-playing (RPG) video game -the best, in our opinion- developed and published by SquareSoft for in 1995. Akira Toriyama, creator of the sagas Dr Slump and Dragon Ball, was responsible of the graphics and visuals for the game. The story of Chrono Trigger takes us to a fantastic world, a universe that could be ours, if not because the axis of its development are the travels in the time. The hero of the adventure is Chrono, a young boy with pointy hair who is awakened by his mother on the day when the anniversary of the Millennial Fair is celebrated, concretely the year 1000 AD.

Chrono Trigger was and will continue to be one of the best SNES video games ever. Its fascinating history, excellent ending (multiple dynamic endings!) and contribution to the RPG universe is undeniable, although its legacy has become more a cry of nostalgia than in a real attempt to create a good remake fans will love.
