There is Vista for 32 and 64 bits!!! And really there is no Oracle Database for 64 bits, but for 32 bits there is certification from Oracle for Oracle 10gR2. Go to metalink certification martix and check!!! On 11/7/07, fbell via oracle-db-installs-l wrote: That's true. Vista to my understanding is a 64 bit O/S. Sorry about that. Correction: they don't support a v9.x 64 bit dB on Intel Windows 64bit. Shows what I know, Vista has a 32bit OS. Just for fun just grab a Win2003 32 bit version and try, that is if your O/S is 32 bit. All comments are welcomed Chetan. If you are running your database on a client, the answer is no.
Otherwise, this is the same SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition that so many players have spent so many hundreds of hours immersed within. Simcity 4 mac os x lion. Best of all, you Apple devotees need not wait for this game's launch. It requires OS X Mountain Lion or a more recent Apple operating system, but alongside this shift into the modern, Aspyr claims the game boasts new bug fixes, performance improvements and native resolution support – a huge boon for anyone who'd rather not play SimCity 4 at a muddy, pixelated 1024x768.
There are completely different versions of the database required to run on Vista than on XP, and I don't believe 9i server works at all on Vista. Recommend AGAINST upgrading. Actually, I recommend you move your database to a dedicated box that isn't running a client OS if you are using this for anything other than testing.
